About Us
Sanjavanimala Foundation
Welcome to
SANJAVANIMALA FOUNDATION
For over 12 years, Ms. Prajakta Chakraborty has poured her heart into creating miracles for those society forgot. What began as a vision has become a lifeline for thousands across Maharashtra. Sanjavanimala Foundation isn’t just an organization—it’s a promise kept daily to the abandoned, the elderly, the broken, and the hopeless.
Registered in 2022 as a Section 8 Company under the Companies Act, 2013, we work tirelessly for social, environmental, and humanitarian causes across India. But our soul lives in the Sanjavanimala Vruddha Ashram, established in 2021—a sacred refuge where forgotten elders find family again.
Without a single rupee from government or private grants, we’ve sheltered 57 precious souls, including 13 bedridden patients fighting paralysis, cancer, and mental illness. We’ve reunited 17 mentally ill women with their families, giving them back their names and identities. We’ve performed over 182 dignified last rites for abandoned bodies—ensuring no one leaves this world alone or unmourned.
From women empowerment to education, from rural development to mental health counselling, from youth awareness to farmer support—we touch lives at the grassroots where change matters most.
Guided by “Service before Self”, we continue proving that love isn’t just an emotion—it’s the greatest healing force humanity possesses. Every day, we choose compassion over convenience, kindness over indifference.
We exist because they exist. And they survive because you care.

Founder’s Message
“Since my college days, I have always believed that true service to humanity begins where no one is watching. The Sanjavanimala Foundation was born from compassion — to give shelter, dignity, and care to those abandoned by society. Every smile of recovery, every soul that finds peace reminds us why this mission must continue.”
